Emeline Bea had a Birthday Party!--October 7, 2017

Emeline turned 11, and thus, got a birthday party.  She wanted an Enchanted Fairy Woodland Party and so that is what she had.  She also wanted it at Grandma Beckie's house because Grandma's backyard is one big, beautiful, fairy garden.  Most of the girls that attended were neighborhood friends, but one homeschool buddy was also able to attend.  Emeline loved all of it!  Great success!

The attendees: Annabel, Grandma, Savannah, Bella (front), Stephanie, Lacey, Harriet, Miriam, Emeline, Hannah.  Her they are posing with their finished fairies.

Presents!  Both of her presents were crafty presents.  I guess her friends know her.

For her birthday, Emeline got a book about how to make fairies.  For the party, I bought a bunch of fairy making supplies and let the girls make fairies.  That was the only planned activity.  Some girls took a long time making their fairies, others took a shorter time.  It worked out because the girls had lots of fun hiding their fairies in the flowers, jumping on the trampoline, eating, and running around enjoying the sunshine.
Can you find the fairies??

Annabel attended the party so Dad could keep working on the kitchen.  She had a great time.

Hannah hiding her fairy.

Fairy hiding.
Stephanie's fairy.
Grandma Beckie was awesome because not only did she provide the decorations and her backyard, she also knows how to sew and is crafty so she helped where needed.  I took pictures and kept Annabel out of the wormy apples on the ground beneath the apple tree.
Annabel liked the acorns a lot.

Lacey and fairy friends.

The fairies that were made.

Eating.

Harriet with her fairy.  I loved the leaf on his hat.

Bella's fairy was super fancy and had a parasol.  Clever.

All the snacks were a hit but the acorns ran out too fast and everyone wanted more.

Hannah and her flower fairy.

It was a party for Emeline Bea--there needed to be hedgehogs.

The invitations.

Great-grandpa and Great-grandma were there too!  That was fun because my kids popped inside to talk to them and show them fairies and treats.  Grandma liked the moss cupcakes.

It was a great day and happy times had by all!

Great job on the food! And, no offense to Savannah, Bella (front), Stephanie, Lacey, and Hannah, who I’m sure are lovely people. but, that is a disappointing group of names to someone like me. Now, Harriet! Annabel! Miriam! Emeline! Now those are some beautiful, perfectly-named children.
