There's no accounting for people deciding who looks like who and whom looks like whom. For instance. This is a picture of my adorable husband, Timothy, at age 5. His nose was even perfect then and has just gotten cuter with age!
This is a picture of my adorable Miriam, at five. Timothy and Miriam look almost exactly alike to me--except that Miriam has red hair and a smaller mouth. However, 99% of the people who see Miriam tell me that she looks exactly like me--I am guessing it is because of the hair.
This is me at age 5. Cute, yes. But I look nothing like Miriam. Even our hair color isn't really the same--just in the same "red" category.
As for this handsome dude, most people in Timothy's family call him "Little Tim" because they think he looks so much like his dad. I don't think he looks anything like Tim. I don't know that he's my spitting-image, but he definitely harks to my side of the family.
Then again again, many people told me when Timothy and I were engaged that Timothy and I look a lot alike. I wish. We both have large eyes. That's about the only similarity I see.

I agree with you on your assessment of Miriam looking like Tim and Cowen looking like you. :) It's kind of funny, when Sean and I were engaged, people told us that we looked similar, too. Maybe people just say that to engaged people?? Off-topic, but to answer your question, our friends named their baby Chloe. Not sure of the middle name.
I get comments like that all the time about my 3 kids. I say well it doesn't really matter who they look like more because at least they look related to us right! I mean does it change anything about who they are as a child-no. We often say they look like themselves because that's who they are.
Actually- I was looking at old photo albums the other day adn I saw a picture of Myles at Cowen's age and I said "holy cow - it's cowen!!!" Must be the double relation - Cute pics of you and tim and the kids. Congrats on your book being finished. Yes, I want to read it when it is COMPLETELY done.
