And so my word is: commune.
Not commune the noun, but commune the verb. Has anyone else noticed how much of the last general conference was about building a relationship with God? And love. So very many talks about love.
My favorite quote from conference is in President Uchtdorf's talk "The Love of God." In it he talks about why God loves us (we are His children) and why we love God (we love Him because He first loved us), but also how we can increase in love. President Uchtdorf said:
"Since 'God is love,' the closer we approach Him, the more profoundly we experience love."
I think that's what I'm needing. A little more love for my Savior. A little more love for my Father. A little more love for my husband. A little more love for my children. And a little more love for myself. And so, as President Uchtdorf pointed out:

"Ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart."
So that's what I want to do this year. Seek, find, commune. Build my relationship with my Father and let everything else take care of itself.
