In naming news, we haven't picked a name but I taught Harriet to say Baby Hobbes and it is SO CUTE!!!! Maybe I'll call him Hobbes no matter what we name him, much like my mom calling me Nicole.
Timothy and his parents took the oldest four snowmobiling on Saturday. I thought I would get so much done. Fat chance of that with Lady Harriet around. She wanted to help. Good thing she's adorable and takes long naps.
Hi!
Can I see the camera?
Yes, I do get into lots of mischief but I fool people with my angelic adorableness.
Cowen was invited to a birthday party for Anders and decided to make him a monster. Anders named him Bob. The monster, not Cowen. I think he turned out pretty cute.
I finished the blanket for Hobbes. I mean Oscar. I mean Kimball. I mean No-Name Child. Timothy said it is my best one ever. I was a little disappointed in the extremely pricey fabric from Spoonflower because it faded more than I expected. Not much I can do about it now.
I also finished making two green pillow cases for the changing table mattress. Super easy and when I tuck the ends under it looks like I knew what I was doing. Awesome. Now I just need some curtains because the ones I bought to match Lady Harriet's quilt don't work that well with these brighter colors.
Isn't it weird that almost 2 years ago I was posting pictures of Lady Harriet's quilt and agonizing about whether or not Timothy would let me name her Harriet? It does not seem possible that the time has flown by as fast as it has. This Saturday Timothy is taking the bunk bed downstairs to the boys' room and putting another twin bed in the girls' room and moving the crib upstairs for Hobbes (I mean Little Boy Blue already). Lady Harriet will be sleeping in a twin size bed. I'm going to go watch her sleep now and cry a little bit.
So that's what we've been up to. That and trying not to think about all the things I should get done in the next few weeks. Baby Boy's arrival isn't very far off now.
