The Kind of Things We Do Around Here

Emeline made her first cake today, a four layer death-by-chocolate sort of cake. I, being a bit of a control freak, cut the cake into the four layers and iced it. She did all the actual cooking. It was delicious. You can find the recipe here. The only thing I changed was having Emeline add buttermilk to the icing instead of milk. I happened to have some on hand and it sounded good and it was! Thanks for the cake, Emeline!
